BREAKFAST: THE MAN
(excerpt from May 5, 2007 interview)
How do you separate the man from the meal? (laugh) Well, I'm hoping that the voters don't do that. I am running on behalf of the meal. My goal is to represent the meal in a meaningful way. A vote for Breakfast... the man or the meal... means the same thing... it means the start of a new day in America.
What I want to infuse in this election is focus and a much needed healthy energy. Breakfast can provide this. It's been proven. This is not bi-partisan rhetoric. I'm here to provide tools, not talk.
A Harvard study of showed that kids who eat breakfast had improved math grades. That's a tool... a way that we can improve our lives in a real, concrete way.
The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition says that breakfast improves your memory... skipping breakfast leads to weight gain and risk of heart disease. These are not Democrat or Republican issues. This is real stuff... real attainable ways that Americans can have a better tomorrow.
What qualifies you to be President?
Now, are you referring to me as a man or a meal?
