| John McCain Policy on the Importance of Breakfast: None Research highlighted by the Public Information Committee of the American Society for Nutritional Sciences (ASNS) and the American Society for Clinical Nutrition indicates that eating breakfast may improve memory in healthy elderly persons. John McCain is a pretty sharp old guy. When the race gets tight, I think it's going to come down to whether or not he's capitalized on his age. He has to shine early as a wise, experienced elder in a field of young whipper snappers. Unfortunately, he's coming across in the early rounds as a befuddled old weirdo. His comments about Iraq being peaceful enough for a leisurely stroll were borderline insane. I admire a lot feisty old guys. They've lived long enough to stop being subtle. When they're irked about something, they let you know. This is the John McCain that I want. I want the brutal truth that comes with age and wisdom. If Mr. McCain continues to put a sunshine spin on situations we know are bad, he's going down.
