They can be a little dim. They can be clumsy. They can even be a little bit of jerk. But if we think they can lead us to the championship, they'll do. John McCain seems like a red-faced often-angry college football coach. John Edwards seems like a gentle little league coach. Even Hillary Clinton seems like a girl's soccer coach.
